Are Traditional Budget Estimates in Construction Always Reliable?
Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking how often do we really stick to the initial budgets in construction projects? Even with experienced contractors, costs seem to spiral sometimes, and it makes me wonder if traditional estimating methods are always reliable.
This is where building cost estimators can make a real difference. By providing detailed and accurate breakdowns of materials, labor, and other expenses, they can highlight areas where traditional estimates might fail. Still, it’s interesting to see how often estimates change once the project starts sometimes it feels almost inevitable.
I’d love to hear others’ experiences have you found initial estimates to be accurate, or do projects almost always exceed the original budget?
